Te Roopu Kaiwhakahaere o Ruawaipu is about reaffirming its tribal mana determined by the tipuna Ruawaipu mai ona whenua ite riu o Waiapu, Awatere, Karakatuwhero me te Wharekahika. It’s all about examining the detail of the Treaty of Waitangi and identifying the Treaty breaches that have impacted upon the Ruawaipu Tribal Estate.
